Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
